Abstract
Through collaborations, artistic and educational formats, and publications, the n*a*i*l*s hacks*facts*fictions group has brought together artists, curators, activists, and researchers to collaboratively explore various aspects of the material culture of cosmetics and feminized beauty work embedded in care practices. This chapter comprises texts by three of the members, the researchers Katja Kobolt, Brigita Miloš, and Petja Grafenauer, who collectively address the notion of care in/and specific gendered aspects of work in art, beauty, and politics.
