Abstract

Während sich die Auseinandersetzung um die Homöopathie heute zunehmend auf quantitative Fragen verengt, wird hier eine qualitative (Wieder-)Eröffnung der 3 die Homöopathie konstituierenden Dimensionen vorgeschlagen, die alle auf altehrwürdigen Denktraditionen beruhen (lógos, hómoion, iásthai). Die Betrachtung ihrer Genealogien mag sich als erhellend erweisen für eine bessere Einschätzung der Stärken und Schwächen der Homöopathie und modernen Medizin, aber auch von neueren Entwicklungen in Gesellschaft, Kultur und Politik.

Summary While the dispute over homeopathy today has increasingly narrowed down to quantitative issues, here a qualitative (re-)opening of the 3 dimensions that constitute homeopathy is being suggested. They all are based on ancient traditions of thinking (lógos, hómoion, iásthai). A study of their genealogies may prove to be enlightening for a better assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of homeopathy and modern medicine as well as of recent developments in society, culture and politics.
