Abstract

Since last year's report in the European Heart Jour-nal, we have witnessed substantial progress in all aspects of interventional cardiology. Of note, the practice of interventional cardiology took place amidst successive waves of the COVID-19 pandem-ic, which continues to be a major burden for all healthcare professionals around the globe. In our yearly review, we shall revisit the developments in percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), struc-tural heart interventions, and adjunctive pharma-cotherapy.
