Abstract

Gründel, J: Remarks on the gastropod originals published by O. Kuhn in 1935 and 1936 from the Liassic δ1-2 (Upper Pliensbachian, Amaltheenton formation) of Franconia (southern Germany). The gastropod originals from the publications of O. Kuhn 1935a and 1936 are re-described, reevaluated, and re-illustrated. The fossils described in Kuhn’s papers come from the Amaltheenton Formation (Upper Pliensbachian) in Franconia, southern Germany. Nomina dubia include the following taxa, introduced as new by Kuhn. Kuhn 1935: Turritella helmuti. Kuhn 1936: Pleurotomaria neumarktensis, P. grandioides, P. bergensis, Trochus haberi, Neritopsis banzensis, Turritella bergensis, T. altdorfensis, T. muensteriana, Cerithium (Cerithinella?) dorni, Alaria subbicarinata, (?) A. banzensis.

Abstract

Die Gastropoden-Originale der Arbeiten von O. Kuhn 1935a und 1936 werden neu beschrieben , neu bestimmt und abgebildet. Sie stammen aus der Amaltheenton-Formation (oberes Pliensbachium) Frankens (Süddeutschland). Nomina dubia sind die folgenden von Kuhn begründeten neuen Arten. Kuhn 1935: Turritella helmuti. Kuhn 1936: Pleurotomaria neumarktensis, P. grandioides, P. bergensis, Trochus haberi, Neritopsis banzensis, Turritella bergensis, T. altdorfensis, T. muensteriana, Cerithium (Cerithinella?) dorni, Alaria subbicarinata, (?) A. banzensis.
