The combination of geriatric trauma centre and Fracture Liaison Service a more efficient treatment of osteoporosis by a close network of the clinic and the general practitioners. Moreover, the close monitoring of the patient allows the scientific processing of the data. A Fracture Liaison Service increases the efficiency of osteoporosis treatment and provides a close supervision of the patients by their physicians.
