Gott ist nicht, worauf es ankommt

Abstract

I discuss four attempts at explaining what spirituality without God might be (by Ronald Dworkin, Thomas Metzinger, André Comte-Sponville, and Robert Solomon). I also give a sketch of spirituality as a kind of attitude (hexis) towards the universe based on the belief that the self is not real and explain why the spiritual attitude does not depend on religion.
