Abstract
The present work aims to analyze the thesis of the fourth antinomy of pure reason located in Kant's Critique of Pure Reason. This thesis tries to demostrate the existence of a necessary being in relation to the contingency of the world of phenomena. Starting from the dogmatic conception of modern classical metaphysics, an attempt is made to reconstruct the logical and metaphysical demostration of said thesis, to later provide a possible rehabilitation under the structure of transcendental realism. The expression "whole/totality" plays a fundamental role there.
