Abstract
This paper serves as an at-a-glance Akkadian glossary of the complete corpus of royal inscriptions of the eighth-century-BCE Assyrian king Sargon II (r. 721–705 BCE), which was published in 2021 by Grant Frame in the series Royal Inscriptions of the Neo-Assyrian Period (RINAP). Each word entry (following the spelling of the word in the AHw and CDA) gives English translations of the word within the context of the corpus (including the associated stems for verbs) and a list of the presently-known written forms. Al-ternative readings for a few fully or partially restored words are provided in the notes. The Appendix gives a list of verbal roots of the verbs attested in Sargon’s inscriptions.
